A Place for St. John’s – Part 2

Berlin Pump Station Conversion

Along with all the development going on in the city I am seeing more and more dead buildings. This saddens me. Many have great structure and history. It is a shame that they are left to dilapidate more instead of being brought back to use.

A good example of a historic conversion is the Berlin Pump Station by Nils Wenk Architects. They have really put a modern spin on the space without sacrificing the original design of the building. Nice job!
